"FUN AND GAMES IN ENGLISH"

This project is about teaching English through games, WEB 2.0 tools, songs and competitions. Playing games in English is a splendid way to facilitate language with young learners. Various types of learners such as kinaesthetic, visual, intrapersonal, interpersonal, auditory etc. are encouraged. With the fun activities used in English lessons, students reduce stress, concentrate on the lesson and learn permanently.The aim of the project is to make English lessons more enjoyable and improve the English levels of students. Let us invite you to witness this enjoyable English project.

October/2019:
*Introducing our schools,cities,countries.
*Getting to know each other
*Creating a logo for the project
*Adding the students to the twinspace
*Pointing the locations of countries on map. (Zeemaps)


November/2019:
*Preparing 'A Board Game'
*Creating Bingo Games.
*Learningapps.com
*Playing 'Cram' game.Ss will prepare a game on Cram.
*Ss will prepare a mini pictionary book about any topic.
*Plickers.


December/2019:
*Preparing and playing games on educaplay.com
*Sending New Year Cards to each other.
*Jeopardy Game.
*Singing a song/Karaoke


January/2020:
*Preparing Cram games with English and Pictures and playing
*Creating Tarsia game.

EXPECTED RESULTS
Students will be able to learn English with the help of games and Web 2.0 tools.
Students will be able to get socialized with each other.
This project will show that games are not used only for fun but also used for the practice and review of the language.This project will make the lessons enjoyable, improve the English levels of students and make widespread the usage of the technology in teaching English.
